i'm not sayin that ppl r jealous of it, but i dont get y so many ppl hate it so much. i mean, most ppl who use ebonics uses it because they dont know any other way to express themselves. and most ppl who do use ebonics grew up with a family or in a community that speaks like that and just cant help it.
so please stop calling it ignorant and stupid and understand why ppl use it.

Well, that's why the government provides school systems, so those who "can't help it" or who "grew up speaking like that" can learn the correct way of speaking. As for speaking slang/ebonics on here, Yahoo put spell check above the boxes for a reason. Use it. Slang is nice when you're speaking with your friends, but there's a time to play and a time to be serious (and intelligent).

no, most people that use slange ebononics use it to be different from the people ya'll keep saying are prejudiced. sorry but we're not quite that dumb yet. but hey, if ya'll want to go off sounding like you don't have a clue about how the english language is spoken, go for it. but keep in mind when you come into my store using that stuff and ask me for something, i'm going to say speak clearly i can't understand you and if you decide to keep talking that crap, i'm just gonna say whatever and walk away.

Ebonics is stupid and will never help you in your attempt to make a decent living.
It is not a matter of acting black or acting white, it is a matter of fitting in to the workplace and earning a decent paycheck.

I am not jealous of it. But I also know how to speak proper english. It can be helped, and, I am sorry, but, if anyone wanted better for their kids, they would teach them to speak properly to get ahead in this world.
