I have a HUGE test tommarow on biology, and i can't find a few questions. Please help me with some!

1.What organelle in a cell that stores the RNA that will make the ribosomes

2. What organelle that becomes chromosomes when the cell is about to divide

3. What organelle stores water and minerals in a plant cell

4. What organelle packages molecules to be sent out to other cells

5. On a microscope is the high-power objective the biggest objective pr smallest?

6. Which direction does osmosis take place?

7. Which proffeser suggested that all animals are made of cells, which one suggested that all plants are made of cells

8. Which scietist proposed that all living things are composed of cells.

Im sorry there are alot of questions, but i have to do the review, and i can't find the information on the internet. Thanks to anyone who answers this! :)

1. Nucleolus - Produces ribosomes, moves the rough ER and is critical in protein synthesis.

3. Central Vacuole

6. (ŏzmō´sĭs) , transfer of a liquid solvent through a semipermeable membrane that does not allow dissolved solids (solutes) to pass. Osmosis refers only to transfer of solvent; transfer of solute is called dialysis. In either case the direction of transfer is from the area of higher concentration of the material transferred to the area of lower concentration.

8. 1838, Theodor Schwann, Cell Theory
(Robert Hooke discovered cells in 1665)

1.) Nucleolus
2.) Nucleus/chromatin
3.) Vacuole
4.) Golgi Bodies
5.) A very silly question... I'd say that the highest power objective will be the one giving maximum magnification. And, it really depends on the type of microscope... there could be many objectives, each stronger than the other... so??
6.) From a region of high solute concentration to a region of low solute concentration.
7.) Schleiden and Schwann
8.)Robert Hooke coined the term "cell"... but Schleiden and Schwann proposed the cell theory.

Osmosis takes palce along the concentration gradient ie from higher to lower concentration.

Schwann proposed cell theory

The ER or Endoplasmic Reticulum packages stuff, normally the smooth ER.

Water and Minerals are stored by a acontractile vacoule

don't you have a textbook?
2- chromatin condense into chromosomes
4-golgi
5- you're going to see smaller objects with a higher objective
6-from areas of high concentration to low concentration.

i know robert hooke discovered the cell-don't know if he proposed life was made of it though.
