If you wear foundation, put that on and make sure it's the right shade. You don't want the embarrassment of having the wrong color saved in your yearbook. Also, put powder on before you take your picture, because the flash the photographers use accentuates the shine in your face. Don't wear too much eye makeup, you don't want to look like a raccoon. Put on a little blush, just a little to make it look like you're really laughing. Wear a shirt that shows off your eyes, like if you have green eyes, wear a blue shirt. When they tell you to smile, think funny thoughts and smile genuine. Another thing - don't have some ridiculous hair style that will look out of fashion in a few years. Stick with a classic style.

avoid drastic eye shadow, doesnt photograph well. A lot of yearbook photos come out orange or green tinted, and when you have say, brown eye shadow, it makes you look tired. Go with simple neutral tones not far from your natural color. I also would advise using liquid eyeliner. it gives a much thinner line than a pencil, and pencil liner can often look too thick in photos. blend it in with a little black eyeshadow to make it look softer. Also, I know this sounds weird, but unless you have starch white teeth, bring a kleenex and wipe off your teeth before you get a photo taken. shiney teeth can reflect weird in school photos, and make the color look uneven.

lip gloss. not too much. a little blush on the cheek. not too much, but make it noticable. And mascara you roll over your eyelashes to bring out beautiful eyes. Happy picture taking!

Whatever you do, DON'T wear eyeliner on your lower lash line for pictures. It doesn't photograph well. Other than that, just go with what you normally wear, nothing fancy
