herd it all too often. Cherish ure friendship. i wouldn't risk a good friendship for anything. but i'm not the only voice out there.

Wow, that is funny because i had the same problem, finally after 10 years of liking him A LOT I worte a letter to him(i think that's the best way) well it turns out he didn't like me, and got sooo bad at first he ignored me forever and it was soooo akward, and then we started talking again and now thank god it is back together, and we are still really good friends. So my advice is I would ask him out, because in the end you will probably be friends again.

Well the truth is it wil toss the friendship out the window.........but there is a possibility that the friendship can be a foundation for something more and if he is not interested in you then how long are u gonna stand by and pretend to jus be his friend when u like him more than that.

Your instinct is correct.... Keep it light, play the game; Men have to take their time, and you should play at it.
The goal is to keep spending time together....if you get serious, you could ruin it.
Hope you can find a counselor to help you deal with your feelings...please don't trust friends; you never know what they might do or say, well-meaning or not.
Keep your other friendships, so you don't become needy & dependent...this is a good reason to become a well-rounded person.

i had the same problem.... i told him and he was shocked but it lifted the weight off my shoulders. he went a bit shy on me for a while but then he came around. we are still best friends.
