im getting eye pain, jaw locking, dental pain to the point where i thought my head was gonna explode. jaw ache, headaches, facial swelling, a ssshhh noise in my ears like tinutus that never goes away. My jaw constantly feels tired and slack. and the socket totally pops out if i open my mouth wide. the list goes on. I had several teeth removed under sedation last year and they must have been real rough as im sure they done this to my jaw and a couple of my teeth were cracked afterwards. this is the only explanation i can think of as it is normaly happens to women in their late thirties and im only 24.i have got a consulatation in a couple of weeks at the hospital and its making me feel miserable and affecting my partener as i dont exactly feel sexy when im up to eye balls on pain killers and in pain. I just hope there is gonna be remedy for this even if it involves surgery. has anyone else got this and is their hope for a pain free future.

You poor dear.
TMJ Dysfunction doesn't usually affect quiteas many areas as those you are describing.Especially with the constant ringing in your ears,I would make a diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia..that's pain in the nerve that supplies a part of your eye, cheek ,ear and jaw.
I doubt if this is as a result of the teeth you had removed under sedation last year.We are in September now and any complications following that procedure would have developed within 6 months afterwards, although it's still possible.
Please try to rest your jaw, stop trying to open it so wide, avoid bright lights and best wishes as you go for your consultation.

They fucked up u need to find out who was in the room with the doctor and saw what happened. Because once ur tmj is wrecked its wrecked it is soo hard to fix. My heart is breaking for you right now i have tears. I have a long history iam 37 now when i was 14 i got hit in the side of the head accidentally. My disk is permanently in the forward position. Its a very long story. I need to c a tmj specialist RIGHT THIS INSTANT and get a bite guard RIGHT AWAY!!!!IT may have a chance of heling but u need a bit guard to relax the jaw and let the disk slide back into place befor u strtch anymore ligaments or tendons. USe ice. I am sooosorry i know your hell! Get a bite guard from an expert and get a lawyer because it is a very debilatating injury and a hard one to fix. GOD Bless u i will pray for you, This is very serious and u need the best support and that doctor should pay but their all lier so watch out! I have a long story.. GOD BLESS U
