As much as i would hate for it to happen. i do think he will. he is on his game and no one right now will come close. the only thing that stands in his way would be injury or other players like roddick, nadal, robredo, and others. step it up and figure out how to play him. The real question is will roger federer face the same fate sampras faced and not win roland garros. he reached the finals but nadal stands in his way. Id say his passes the record by 2-3 slams.

In the end of the day, Federer will surpass them all including Sampras. I hope he gets three more than him since 17 is my favourite number :)

Tennis isn't golf and as good as Roger is, he has probably reached his peak. He has another 4 to 6 Slams in him but that's the maximum.
Injuries will eventually wear his body out and the rest of the top players will probably improve. In golf, it's basically you against the course. In tennis, it's you against the others, not forgetting Father Time.
I think he will fall just short at 12 or 13 Slams.

Yes, Federer will surpass Pete's record. I think he will probably win 15 and Federer will win the French.

Obviously, I think he will do it within 3-4 years . I cant say by 'how many'. You had better ask Federer himself. I think he wins as many Slams as he wishes.

By two if he doesn't get injured, or someone tries to kill him.
