There is not as many hurricanes this year meaning the ocean is cooler which may indicate a early winter. But as always the ground can give us a early spring so we should be OK!

I guess the Almanacs are saying its going to be a colder winter, but I don't know about it coming early and lasting longer. Yah, the acorns, little and big, are falling like crazy here on the east coast, but didn't really think much about it because it's been an "early" year plant wise. I'm looking forward to winter now, but come January, after the holidays, I'll be wishing for an early spring!!

In west Texas we never know. We may be able to swim in our pool until the first of December, or we may not go in again until next summer. The only way I can know is wait until January, and then I can let you know! Sorry.
