Depends on the girl. She may be responding with what you want to hear because she is afraid to love you. She may have had her heart broken by several others before she started seeing you. So don't take it too seriously. Keep dating and see if she changes towards you.

It may be that your gf is shy or that she is not ready to really commit to you but if it hurt your feelings I would find out just for peace of mind. Some girls may turn their head away because they didn't know how to respond at first ask her why she did not look atyou whenb she said it the truth may hurt but isn't it better to finds out now then to continue in a relationship with someone who may not be on the same wavelength as you. Be true to your own feelings and if it helps have a talk about them with her
also realize that she may have been hurt in the past by another guy who may have said I love you just to get in her pants I hope this isn't your reasoning because then you would just be a dog.
Saying I love you are possibly the three strongest words that can come out of our mouths when you cherish someone so when you say it make sure it isn't just off the cuff but is heartfelt woman love sensitivity in a guy and they also like honesty so makesure when you say it that its coming from the heart and not the throbbing in your groin lol. I hope this helps because when a woman looks at you and means what she says then you know that she is commited to you and the realtionship you are building.
One other thing rather then saying I love you tell her why you love her the way she smiles when your together how you enjoy spending time together how beautiful she is you can never tell a woman too many times how pretty they are because if you haven't noticed yet most woman are never happy no matter how attractive they are they will find flaws. I hope this helps.

hmm... tough, but sweet question.
it really does depend on the girl. she might be just trying to cover the huge smile on her face because she doesnt want you to know how long she's been waiting to hear those words. or she could be shy. or she could be holding back tears of joy.
my point is that you're thinking worse-case senario. yes, it could mean that she isnt true or that she's lying BUT thats highly unlikely.
Most girls i know take those three little words very seriously. she was probably just happy and surprised.
don't over-analyze it and enjoy your relationship!
good luck!!!

depends ... one could never know.. maybe you should ask her if she really meant it.. and ask her to be honest with you. If she says Yes she is, then you have to trust that she does, unless she otherwise does or says something to contradict that.
See what her actions are telling you!

It could mean she thinks she loves you too, but she isn't really sure. She could also be shy.

Dude!!! She's already thinking of her next boyfriend! Do yourself a favor and dump her first, before she does it to you!

not necessarily so. some people have a very difficult making eye contact when they speak to people, i being one of them. doesn't mean you are lying.

I would say at least that she's not very sincere about you believing her.
