whatever you do, DON'T PICK ON IT!!! I heard vitamin E oil works wonders. if not then maybe you should get a prescription for something off the counter.....i know of a cream my doctor had given me for my son's scar it began with a hydro something but it can cause worse scaring and thinning of the skin if not used properly.....which will leave a white patch on that spot if not used sparingly...i got scared and never used it...but there are product that can zap off almost anything!

I did not quite understand the question so i will answer this best as I can and no I am not a dermatologist or a doctor of any kind. I would say if you have a scab that was a scar and it is not healing then you need to see a doctor to rule out cancer or an infection. If it is just a scab that is there due to an injury then leave a fine film of Triple antibiotic like Neosporen on there, this way it does not dry out and crack. My son had really bad abrasions on his face due to an accident and that is what we did. Everyone thought he would be scarred but he is not. Good luck and DO check with the doctor and ask though before doing anything I suggest. By the way DO NOT get the Neosporen in your nostrils.

You say it "used" to be a scar. How long ago? Did you recently re-damage the place? Might be a good idea to see a doctor and let him/her look at it. Could be a skin cancer growing and just happens to be in or arouind the scar area. Pops
