hey guys thanks in advance but i have math hw and i did most of the worksheet just im stuck on sum i took this lats year its just a review sheet but i furgot how to do sum

2x²+14x-60
i got to ...
(2x+___) (x-___) but iddnt know what to do next

and if u know this ... it looks SO easy but im braindead

You posted this question twice, and so far, NOBODY has factored it completely!

First, factor out the 2. (Nobody did this!)

2x^2 + 14x - 60 = 2(x^2 + 7x - 30)

Then factor again to get 2(x+10)(x-3). That's your first answer.

Now for the second problem.

x^(a+3) - x^(a+2) = x*x^(a+2) - x^(a+2)

Factor out x^(a+2) to get

x^(a+2)(x+1)

That's your second answer.
