I practice Vodou. We honor our ancestors, serve the lwa, and praise Bondye (God). Not sure what you mean by voodoo thing. We hold fets to serve the lwa. During these fets anything can happen. The lwa manifest through possession. They come to heal, bless, perform magic, give advice, and help in anyway we may need. Amazing things happen when fets are held. We are truly blessed to have the lwa in our lives.

This website will give you a better understanding about Vodou:

In my years as a solitary witch. I have found that love spells can work when they are not aimed as a specific person. If the spell focuses on sending someone with certain attributes that you like to you then it will most likely work. It also depends on the persons adeptness. In other words how well they know their craft. It worked for me, so I can say it works.

They can work if you believe.

Love spells are usually requested by a person wanting another person to fall in love with them, so if you believe that the concoction of herbs will make that happen, you whole demeanour will change, you will be more focussed on the person in question and they will become aware of that.

Voodoo is a religion. All religions require faith. If you are a Christian, Muslim, Seikh or whatever, you believe what you are told, the same in Voodoo.

really it depends upon the belief of the person and the purpose of the ritual. Love spells don't really exist. It's just the extra confidence boost you get thinking it does that allows you to be you and the person you like to like the real you. as for Voodoo, only talk to marie on that one. They say she's still aliveso contact her if possible and ask there. If you live somewhere close to Louisianna or have a vacation coming up, go to her "grave" site. pay her memorial and knock before entering the grave yard and before leaving it. Or else you'll be sorry.
Blessed Be.

In a word, yes. In the basic sense spells are nothing more then a concentrated thought that is focused into an object that is sacrificed in order to provide the balance needed to provide your desire. (Much like a prayer, only it follows the universal law of give an take. You cant recieve what you desire unless you give something of eqaul value.) I do believe that just like electricity was discovered, that one day we will discover why the human brain hasnt devovled over the evolution of mankind. I believe the answer lies within us. That we have a great many more abilities then we are currently aware of as a whole.

For those that doubt, consider this In nature the process of evolution refines everything to the least common denominator. In that case why hasnt evolution refined the size of the human brain? Ask any neuro surgeon an they will admit we actually understand less then 1/5 of the human brain(An they let them cut into it)

Think of it this way. Everything in the universe responds to energy. From electricity to magnetism, gravity to life-energy. All matter and all thought and all life respond in some way to various energies.

Emotions are just other energy patterns. Partially neurological and biochemical, and partially mental and spiritual. So, being energy patterns, emotions are just as effected by energy as anything else.

Magic works by altering and affecting energy patterns. So, if the right energy patterns can be set in motion to create the right actions, it is possible to influence people. How strong the influence is and how much effect it produces depend on the type of energy being used. Emotions are subtle, and difficult to effect.

But if you've every watched one person in a room infect everyone else with their bad mood, or watched one person light up a room and make people happy just by their presence, then you've seen how emotions can be affected by energy patterns.

The rest is just knowing what to do and how to do it.

Yes, but doing a spell to harm someone, or to override their will will come back and bite you in the butt (karma). There's also the "be careful what you wish for" thing. I have a friend who did a love spell to "get" a girl he was attracted to. She wound up being so obsessed with him as to be practically a stalker.

I've heard about it working, but I don't know if I buy it. and Shepherd, I'm not trying to disrespect you, but that's not what God is about. It's not all a bunch of rules, and that's why so many people hate Christians, because they portray God as a strict rule-enforcer instead of a friend.
