The job I have right now - I own my own medical transcription business and I work from home. I am my own boss; I have all the advantages of NOT being tied down to an 8-5 job. I can take time during the day to clean house, do laundry, play with my dogs, run errands, pick my 11 year old son up from school - I get to spend more quality time with him, and I don't have to pay for after school daycare. In other words, I have the convenience of a very flexible schedule. I can sit at my computer and work, and my 2 Siberian Huskies are usually laying at my feet. Plus I have a very supportive husband who works as a certified mechanic and smog tech and also helps me with our transcription business.
What more could I ask for? I wouldn't have it any other way!

Well, today it is to be an artist, tomorrow it may to write songs. I say that if you have to dream about something keep it entertaining and not the same old thing all the time. The main thing is hold on to your dreams but do not wait too long either. Write a list of your dreams and make sure that you accomplish at least one of them per year. Or at least make plans to work toward achieving your goals weather it is by going to college or getting the training elsewhere. Start now so you do not end up one of them people who say I could have been...or I could have done...and now it is too late. Let me contradict myself, if you are one of them people and are still breathing, I guess then it is NOT too late, get going!

I want to work at an animal shelter. Seriously, it's been my dream since I was like 3 years old. It might not pay a lot, but I'd love it. I love animals.
Either that, or else be in a band.
:)

I would love to get paid for answering Yahoo Questions. I have a good percentage of "best answer" nominations. This probably won't be one of them. Since it's unlikely that the check is in the mail, my second choice dream job would be an attorney specializing in Eldercare issues and financial planning. With so many "baby boomers" hitting retirement age, it would be rewarding to help older people plan their golden years with security. I would love to know more about trusts and wills, investments, and helping people help themselves.

Making those compilations of movie clips like for the Oscars. Having access to any movie clip or sound clip I want, splicing them together, setting them to music and creating a little movie out of it. I think that would be such a cool job. I love movies!!
I know...sounds silly.
