Okay I want to lose 10 pounds. I am 5'2 and I am 123 lbs. I want to go back down to 113 lbs like I was before the summer. I am 15, and I am a dancer.

My friend told me I should have nothing but liquids like a lot of water and gatorade, and run a lot and do crunches a lot.
Should I? What else should I do?
THANKS!

And be reasonable please.

I never said i was fat! I don't even look the tiniest bit of overweight, I just want to do this for my self esteem!

Also, my parents don't really buy or cook anything that healthy, and so I sometimes just don't eat or I pick at something. I have talked to them about it before but they don't really listen.

Eating healthy is what is important. Stick with protein and fruit and vegetables. Carbs are okay in moderation and keep active. You can eat anything at all and lose weight, you simply have to eat only a taste of it My sister lost 120mlbs in a year by eating smaller sized portions, but not restrictiong herself to "diet" foods.

Life is short, but live it well. Don't give up what you truely love but eat sensibly and in moderation.

Good luck, be healthy.

I undertand that you want to lose waigth but having liquids liek water and gatorade alone is certainly not the heatlhy choice. You need the right combination of diet and excercise. Maybe jogging three times a week and driking lots of water, eating lots and ffruits and vegetables and avoiding the carbs. Have meals regulary becasue in this case quality is more important that quantity.

You need to figure out why you gained the 10 lbs. Muscles weighs more that fat, are you sure your fatter?
Avoid all white foods: sugar, flour, rice etc.
Eat healthy: protein, veggies & fruits, anything you could pick naturally. You don't want a quick fix, you need to change your eating habits & drinks lots of water.
