Well, when you think about it, yeah!!! You are putting a needle through it!!! But, the pain is intense, luckily it only hurts for a few seconds and takes 3-5 months to heal, if you have kids watch out!!!! They love to yank on it :)

it doesn't hurt as bad as getting your eyebrow pierced.. i did them both the same day thinking my lip would hurt much more than my eye... i was so wrong!

It hurts no matter where you add a new hole to your body. I have numerous piercings, they all hurt. Can you tolerate pain? That's the real question.

sort of, if they freeze it then no, all u feel is a slight numbness which wears away, but if its not frozen then yes, yes it does hurt

i imagine that it will hurt more than ears but not much more.
but on girls, i think it's tacky
on guys it's sexxy!
