I was trying to copy the pics from my ipod to my comp, I cant see the pictures cause when I click on the file it says choose the program you want to use to open this fileand none of them works. Does anyone know what program I need to have to see my pictures. This also happens when friends email me funny videos, my comp wont let me see it.

Assuming no DRM (digital rights monkeying) is going on, you simply need a file association with a good photo editing or viewing program.
Though Windows comes with picture viewers and editors - and your system has to have been played with to "loose" the association - it would be very easy to download and install the free Picasa Google photo program. Its installation will set the needed file association, too.

file extension would be helpful
fiel extension is everything after the "." ie: ipodpicture.fileextension
