I saw on here where someone asked this same question a while back and someone answered to use 2 or 3 drops of vinegar. Will this work?

My 7 yr old nephew is the one who has it (they think thats what it is) and my mother keeps my sisters kids and mine after school so we are trying to keep everyone from getting it. Hopefully my sis will take the child to the doc.

Youcould try flushing your eye with Boric Acid Solution, available at most pharmacies. It doesn't hurt and has antiseptic properties.

Vinegar is acetic, so maybe it will work, but honestly, I haven't heard of this and I don't know if it is healthy for the eye or would even work.

If the condition persists inspite of home treatments you may need to see a doctor. Pink eye is contagious.

Good luck.

It need to be treated by a Doctor. And your kids need to stay away from the child with pink eye until he uses prescription eye drops for 24 hours.

Try chamomile water. Put chamomile into water boil it, turn the stove off, and when the water is at room temperature grab cotton pour it on your eyes, that should help.

I don't believe it will kill the virus that causes pink eye, there are drop that you use for your ears, and also for pink eye but are by presc. only, I'd go c a doc because pink eye is Highly contagious..
