Take a blow drier and and use the highest heat on the blow drier to melt the tape a little. It may take a few min to melt the tape and heat up the adhesive. While the tape is still warm, use a razor blade to get the rest off. If there is still sticky residue, then I would use the goo gone.

hmm WD-40 is useless u just added to the problem by using that , i am surprised Goo Gone did not work, there is powerfull adhesive remover out on the market that should do the job i dont remember the name but i know HomeDeopot carries it.
plus have u tried warm water and soap, let it sit for a while, if that did not work, go get the product that i said it's around $6-$10 i think.

I use WD-40. The combination of the oil lubricant and the aerosol solvent work very well to loosen the adhesive on the back of the tape. Then just use household ammonia to clean the window.

go down to home depot, the painter's section and buy a 3 " inch scraper, painters use this tool religiously.(well supply them to the helpers anyways)its green or grey, and has a blade insert resembles a razor blade,3 inch long face, and they work great.thats just on glass applications only.if you have some on the house directly and its baked on,try goof-off.and be prepared to touch up the paint on the house

put rubbing alcohol on a small cloth and rub over it , it will disolve the glues and make it soft ,, scratch it off w/ a razor blade or your thumb nail if strong enough,,,put some more alchol on paper towel and rub away any remaining tape glue,, then wash window w/ a window cleaner like windex or something

take a bic lighter and for a second or two, put the flame on it back and forth for just a few seconds, then take your razor blade and it should scrape right off. If repeating the process does not work, rubbing alcohol should do the trick.

peel off as much as you can and spray it down and soak with White vinegar. Dip paper towels in vinegar and leave on about 5 minutes and work that off.
