OHHHHHH!!! Just kidding. The tag is for in store purposes only. It is to prevent retailers from selling the public used mattresses. If you own the mattress you can remove the tag without consequence.

The only reason that this warning is on there so that the first person that owns it can (and is supposed to) remove the tag. It signifies that the mattress is new, and has not been used.

There is no penalty for a person removing the tag. Only stores removing tags.

death by hanging! the tag is just a warning so that the owner can read it.. and buying a used mattress is gross, and do they even do it? so take it off.
