My team has about 4 girls that can play well, a few who can hold there own, and a few who have little/no experience.

In my opinion try a 3-5-2. Try to make your team an offensive team, because they are little and they are learning to play the sport. Its not about competition, but its about making them learn teamwork and to love the game even more!(offensive soccer is beautiful) There is nothing more fun than making beautiful offensive plays and beautiful soccer, but for this it is required to show them teamwork, and its also important that you can be like a good psychologist for them. Good Luck!

The best formation that might suit your team should be the 4-4-2 formation.
Try to put two girls that can play well in the midfield.
And at least one of your best player in the defence. when the opponent push foward with the offence, your best solution might to do zone defence.
Just follow the basic 4-4-2 and modify it during play.
and don't forget the most important thing is to have fun.

You need to get more details from your players. If you have good wingers you might consider a 3-D, 2-CDM, 1-RWM, 1-LWM, 1-CAM, and 2 ST.

If you have many good defense players like 5 use 5-2-2-1.

I'm not going to explain all of them but my best bet would be the traditional, classic, and simple formation of 4-4-2.
