The legal age is 18, but if your parents sign some legal thing (sorry, I don't know what it's called) then you can move out when you're 16.

In U.S. its 18. It still depends on what state or country you are in because in the Philippines children even of matured age are still staying with their parents. Specially for the chinese families wherein children were forced to stay with their parents even if they already have their own families. This is specially true for male chinese. If they insist in moving out they will be threatened by disinheriting their children. Tradition is still the biggest factor in most countries.

Some states may allow "emancipation" at age 16. Your parents or guardians must sign a related document.
