As stupid as racism is, your right. Blacks have channels like BET, black history month, and black comedians are allowed to talk about whites on public tv stations. If a channel came out for whites, it would be racist and sued. There will never be a month where students learn about the history of the white race, thats racist. If a white comedian almost says anything bad about blacks, hes called a racist and will be sued and will probably never be allowed on tv again.

Eventually, there will come a time when black history and white history and all other ethnic groups history will be blended together and taught honestly. Until the history of our country is revised in this way, there is a need for a black history month and an hispanic history month, etc. Yes, there are black tv stations, but all are allowed to watch if they like, just as there have been in the past white tv stations that all were allowed to watch. You are allowed to be proud of who you are, if you can do it without putting anyone else down. That is not just for whites, but for everyone. Putting someone else down so that you can feel superior is not pride. It's racism.

Now, and educated answer......
You can be proud, but why can't we. We have all these great things because before, we couldn't. We have "black tv stations" because, in my opinion, it gives us something to relate to......it's our culture!
United ***** Funds, plain and simple- A mind is a terrible thing to waste. No, but really, we all know that Afro-Americans are a minority, and maybe some can't really afford college. So for those that do want to be something in life and achieve, they get scholarships.
Now, Black History Month. Now personally, I believe in Black 365, BLACK HISTORY EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR!!!!!! l0l. But foreal, ya'll have the other 11, can we atleast have something?! Can we be proud of the accomplishments out forefathers have done to greaten this nation as a whole? And we have done a LOT by the way. Look it up.
So now my question to you is....why are WE considered racist when all we are trying to do is better ourselves?

nicely, in view that he's a sociology professor, he ought to understand there are various concepts to seem at a situation. it really is merely one reason and doubtless no longer the most substantial one. There are more beneficial unmarried be certain households in united statesa. than there use to be, yet human beings opt to act like that's nonetheless taboo. that's worry-free interior the white community besides. strengthen the demise of the kinfolk unit in united statesa., and that's data. Edit: Why are human beings denying that this befell? i'm in sociology direction right this moment. They communicate race each and every of the time.

Because there are fundamental problems with their psyche that make most not as successful in industrialized societies and it is easier to blame others than own up to issues.
No black nation, ruled by blacks, has ever industrialized successfully. Blacks score lower than whites on standardized tests, at a statistically significant level. (Asians score higher).
They are much more likely to come from a single parent household and more likely to engage in violent or criminal behavior on a per capita basis.
They blame the whites essentially because they are jealous. Note that successful blacks don't do much blaming, its largely just a way for the unsuccessful ones to explain their lack of success in an industrialized, information-based society.

Why are whites so racist and asking questions like this? I mean I am white also but I think your question is a bit out of line. We all need to try and except eachother and yes, there always will be barriers between two different races but instead of asking why do they get this and we don't? you should be paying more attention to how you feel and how you can change things in a good way. You can be proud. But pride should come from yourself and not the way that everyone on TV sees you.

I’m not white or black, but it’s funny how most races or ethnicity in the world can have their own group or organization in the United States except for white people because of the fear that they’ll be branded as racist.

Take a Chris Rock stand-up routine, reverse the races in his jokes and have a white comedian do the routine, and you'll see an outcry like you've never seen.

no one says you can't be proud. Everyone wants to blame someone else for something. Thats the way it is, thats the way its always going to be. You can't change people or the way they think, the only thing you can do is worry about you.

lazy society. its an opportunity to get something for nothing because of a horrible culture over 150 years ago. When the environment you grow up in encourages that kind of attitude generation after generation will continue to think they are still owed their "40 acres and a mule". Its a poor excuse to use when you simply dont want to work your way up and make yourself better.
