I just recieved a violation notice, for Chatting or Private Correspondence. I am going to post my question in it's entirety and you can tell me if it was worth reporting.
Did YOU report this??

Will you vote for me? As your new president!?
As president, you will all refer to me as emperor, yes, no more democracy, we need a strong leader! one who can bring peace to this world through force! All people under my rule will be beaten weekly, and those who defy me shall be beaten and imprisoned in rapid sucession every day for 3 hours at a time! First off, I will declare war on Canada and bring them under the new rule! We will now have slaves from Canada too, No more African slaves, we will use FRENCH! And I will promote better education too, all stupid kids will be banished to China untill they get a colledge degree somehow. Vote for a better choice, Vote for our future!

Is this violating anything!?? I know it's stupid, but I like stupid! What are your thoughts on this?

What I think happened is your verbage got under someone's skin and they reported you. I doubt that Yahoo has sufficiant staff to police the multitude of postings that might violate their standards, and they were reacting to a complaint, which, technically, has some validity.

What you wrote is funny and intended for entertainment, but it does violate the strict interpretation of their guidelines.

Maureen S is ideal. in my view i imagine that's so infantile to thumbs down or incite anger only for kicks. The ppl who try this basically to get a reaction are for sure very truly entertained. also...they could have a topic coping with the actual international even as they get out in it (or already do in the adventure that they are available) & deal with the help of causing hassle.

It's not Yahoo! It's the users on here. Anyone can be reported. If it was offensive to someone, all they had to do was click the little report abuse button...But no, I don't think anything you said was that bad, but perhaps there are canadians on here who may have felt differently? Just a thought

Your question was too personal and the answer only interests you. You should have been more ambigious and said would you vote for a "person" and drop the use of "I" through out your statement. It all depends on how you present it not on the actual content sometimes.

people will report you just because they dont like you or what you say . They find reasons to report you. It's lame , but they do it .
