I know I do! I really wish I can find someone to get to know. Its hard finding true friendship you know.. I am 23 years old and I hope oneday God will bless me with a great female friend! I see other people with close friends and I would love that..The reason why I haven't connected I guess is because I am the only child and I was always used to being by myself. Nowadays I long for a true friend...Is there anyone out there that wishes the same as myself?

You have to find someone who shares some of your interests first. However, from my experience the part that makes the friendship fun is the differences between the two of you.
Why do I say this?
Because finding someone who differs from you in small ways challenges you and that other person to try new things and meet other new and different people.
Though it takes time for all this to happen the more time you are willing to put into the relationship the better. In the end you and the other person or people you are friends with will benefit your family will benefit from seeing you become a social person and you will have a greater friendship with the most important person in your life you.

The trick to having a good friendship is to enjoy doing things together - so - go out & do the things you REALLY LOVE to do & ask other people , "do you like to do....whatever ?" It takes time & you might find some dishonest ppl at first but eventually (or right off, if your lucky) you'll find someone who REALLY enjoys enjoying the same things together......
gee, this is good advice; I think I'll take it myself !
honesty & enjoyment, the two neccesities...
but even so,
there will be times when you'll have to forgive even your good friends.....or yourself...for not living up to an ideal....
keep it going...
so talking, telling ppl what you really enjoy & be honest (which is critical for mutual respect).

Yes. I envy those people who have true friendships, like they do in TV. I have many friends, but not one good true girl friend. I would also love to have a best girl friend whom I can share anything and everything with. My Husband is my best friend, but I wish for a best girl friend. I'm the youngest of 10 so it's not true that you haven't connected with people because you are the only child.

Friends are hard to come by no matter if u were raised alone or with a building of children.
Friends will come to u naturally,
Hope u find a true friend, cause most friends will stab ya in the back.
Your best friend is Jesus Christ, he is always there.

Yeah. I always just want someone to talk to. I had a good friend, but all she does it talk about herself, and i can never talk to her about my problems. However I am a very good listener and love helping people with their problems.
