she don't need to be burped anymore just let fall asleep with her bottle just make sure when she is fully asleep you take the bottle away so she wont get an ear infection from the milk that dribbles down her cheek this could be a worse problem try to cut her day naps shorter and not have one to late so she will be tierd fall asleep sooner when you put her down to sleep Good luck with todler years

We successfully followed guidance in one of the books we had: Put her down for bed, the first night pick her back up after 5 min of crying, the second night ten minutes, the third night 15 min, etc.
At some point she'll learn to give herself the comfort she needs for sleep and you will both have achieved something good. I think our daughter got there after only a few nights, I am sure kids are all different.

A six month old does not need to be burped as often anymore. They should be able to do this by themselves. When she falls asleep just let her be, otherwise you will be dealing with a crabby baby from now until toddlerhood. And then of course toddler's aren't much easier as you will find out.

Make sure she is taking naps during the day. My son is 7 months old and he sleeps so much better at night is he takes naps good during the day. Also, even if he has a bottle at 7, when he gets really tired at 7:30 he wants another bottle to relax him.

There is a great book called "Good Night Sleep Tight" by Kim West. It can help you teach your daughter to fall asleep without her bottle or you. And it deals with older kids so if she developed a problem sleeping later on you could refer to the book again.
Good luck!

she may have little colic if so there is an over the counter medicine for that,or add a peppermint to the bottle of water, also I found that lavender baby bath really soothed my children and they went right to sleep, you may also want to try playing soft music

Super nanny did this on one show.If she tries to cry, just let her cry until she starts to be quiet. If she gets out of bed just walk out of the room, and shut the door.TRUST ME,I KNOW IT HURTS.Just walk away whithiut paying any attention to her.Soon she'll understand. And try to give her a soft doll.,you know the cotton stuffed ones.Or it may just be where she sleeps.Check to make sure she didn't go to the bathroom.
