I tend to be pretty busy with school and work, so instead of calling people I will just e-mail them every now and then. A girl wrote to me, "we are friends, you don't have to e-mail me you can call me anytime" I e-mailed her back that e-mail is more convenient for me so I e-mail. I never called her. Now she is pissed off at me and doesn't reply to my e-mails or if she replies it will be less than a sentance. Am I missing something? What do you think of the situation?

Girls are wired for emotional connection. In a girls world, emails or texts are non-intimate. It will feel to her like you don't want to connect with her. I think you are being reasonable, but foolish. sure, it is more convenient to you, but you are missing the point. This isn't about convenience to her, it is about her not hearing your voice, and you rebuffing her requests for a deeper connection. I know it sounds needy, but that is the world of teenage girls.

Though I am busy with school and work I feel the need for someone to take the time to put a little work into getting to know me. If that person wants to IM me a few times that's great but somewhere along the line I want to hear a voice and maybe set up something that can't necessarily be set up online because you are typing and don't have a hand free or a pen or pencil nearby to write anything down with.. Call me old-fashioned but if you are interest in me let me hear it from you and not just see it come across the computer screen. Plus now you can also take pics with cell phones.

emails are like talking AT someone.take it from me NO girl wants that kinda one sided conversation.give her a call she wants to hear ur voice and have a REAL conversation, u dont have anything but maybe 5 minutes of ur life to spare and u might find out you like talking with her and regret u didnt do it sooner!

Because most women are insecure, jealous, and suspicious creatures who have to be in constant, uninteresting, and otherwise pointless conversation, otherwise they assume you are cheating, lying, or involved with other unscrupulous activities.
