It was primarily designed for computing technology, there really isnt much it can be used for - although OS runs on binary code so if technology untimately relies on a computer, then its talking to binary.

Actually binary is used to represent the 2 possible states of a switch; off and on. So in fact every time you flip on your light switch, it is a creative use of binary.

You don't use binary code it would be too time consuming and error prone. The computer uses it. 1000001 to 1011010 for us mere humans.

Absolutely nothing. I don't think anyone would want to take the time to go through hundreds of 1s and 0s to figure out what they say. If binary isn't for computers it shouldn't be for anything. It's far too long though it isn't complex it's time consuming to decode and couldn't be used for anything practical.

Art, mathematics, evaluation of logic.
It can be used anywhere any other number system is used.
You can count with it (up to 1023 on your fingers alone - try that in decimal).
