Said that it should be if the mother couldn't support the baby, I didn't mean economically. I meant that she would die if she gave birth. So now what. I'm still pro-life.

If it were me, I would never want to kill a baby . I would rather die . There are so many ladies out there that cannot have children. It would be an unselfish thing on my part to give my life for my baby and give him or her life. I am against abortion at all cost. God will take care of us.

well...the fact is (and yes it is fact) that there is no right and wrong reason to have an abortion..it is a decision that a woman makes about her body and her child....just b/c someone MIGHT be at risk if they give birth does not make it right as opposed to someone who MIGHT not WANT to raise a child at a certian point in their life. either way it effects the responsibility of the mother to take care of a child. RAPE doesn t make it different either...just because a woman was wronged by a stranger or a man or whoever, doesnt it make it different than a woman who was 13 or 21 or too drunk or irresponsible...the point is... a woman can choose to be on BIRTH CONTROL and she can choose to have an ABORTION b/c it is her body...it is her child.. it seems that the only factor that might come into play is the father of the child...they have just as much a right to their cild as a woman does. its half and half not a quarter or a third someones responsibilty...he cant make her have an abortion he cant make her not have an abortion..maybe people should start debating that instead of the dirty old MEN standing outside of clinics preaching to STRANGERS about their decisions...the world is a messed up place.. but if we take away peoples rights to choose what they feel is BEST for them, especially somehting as large as bringing a person into the world, then what do we have control over??? if people make the decisions for women about what they do with their bodies, we will have regressed many years and THAT is not what i want for my future.

This decision should be left up to the Mother to be of the child. Thank GOD I never had to make such a decision - a friend did and she aborted the child and lived with regrets the rest of her life!@

As a pro-life person and assuming I’m the husband of the mother who’d make a difficult choice, I’m all for keeping my wife alive. It's a vow everyone makes when they get married.

from a catholic standpoint it is acceptable ONLY if it is to save the mothers life, as it is a mothers responsibility to be with her kids.

That is biblicaly not considered an abortion.
