The honest answer is no. I mean no disrespect to the survivors of the incident and those who lost loved ones. However, that tragedy, even as horrendous as it was, wasn't even a statistical blip on the radar of the US infrastructure or population. The tragedy has been used however by a manipulative administration in Washington to slowly deprive us of our civil liberties and privacy. Racial profiling has increased and international relations are at an all time low.

This kind of thing didn't happen after the Oklahoma City bombing, but that was perpetrated by white, militant, Christians, so we tried to forget that as soon as possible. The Bush administration has shamelessly been using the deaths of innocent people at the World Trade Center to fundamentally change the face of this country and its government. They should be ashamed. Their only legacy is that they have created more mistrust in our society, widened the gap between the have and have nots, eroded our civil liberties and attempted to deprive us of our privacy.

I'm hoping that for many in our country tomorrow will be a day for laying to rest the ghosts and fear of the World Trade Center attack and to lift up their eyes to the future.

I'll be thinking how boring to dig up this old chestnut while all the media avoids the reasons behind the attack and the electorate does nothing about the Bush whitewash of events. Yawn

Yes I will be saying a silent prayer! I will also never forget that my mom called me over and said that a plane flew into to WTC and that they didn't know if it was an accident or not. Then the second one flew into the second building...then we knew it wasn't an accident.

I'm already thinking about it, and wondering if there are any attacks planned. It is the 5th anniversary, it could be significant to the people associated to the 9-11 attacks.

I will, 9/11 runs thru my mind daily. I always think of the families who lost a loved one, and the troops who are fighting for our freedom and rights. God Bless the troops and come home safe really soon.

No I won't be thinking about the day. I have too much other going on. I have to take my children to speech testing and then to YMCA and then I have other errands that will run late into the night. So I won't have time to think what day it is other than a typical monday.

I think about 9/11 everyday since it's happened. And I pray every night for peace. But mostly I pray for the safety of our troops. God bless them.
