She doesn't have any other symptoms like fever or anything, but the rash seems to have gotten worse and it's incredibly itchy. She's putting pure aloe on it but it's not really helping. Her soap isn't scented or anything, and she can't figure out what else would be causing the irritation, because she hasnt' changed her routine or the products she uses, and this has never happened before.

She never gets rashes or breaks out so this is highly unusual. Anybody had something like that happen to them before? She does work out regularly and so she works up a sweat, but she's been using this deoderant for quite a long time so it would be odd to think that all of a sudden this deoderant would be the cause of the problem..

use Listerine for several days, use a washcloth with Listerine one it, really wet, let it dray, and then just use medicated powder to stay dry...the rash will be gone in 1 week...I go everyday to the gym...its a fungi under the arm..also jock-itch will work...but Listerine is a much milder anti-septic...for under arms

I judt got a terrible rash on my neck lase Wednesday. I couldn't stand it so I went to the doctor on Thursday. He said I had a type of contact dermatitis, and gave me a medication I have to take for 6 days. First 6, then 5, then 4, then 3, then 2, and 1.
He said it could be caused from any chemical, pet, allergic reaction. They really do not know. It could mean that your immune system is low right now. I know mine is cause I just had sugery.

My son had a bout with folliculitis. (not sure of the spelling on that.) Anyway, it's an inflammation of the hair follicles. He was as you describe your friend...doesn't break out, etc. It affected one side of his face and neck and his underarms. We got scared and went to the emergency room. They gave him something that worked pretty fast...can't remember what! Good luck.

If nothing else is irritating the area then it must be the deorderant. It is actually quite commen for things that you have been using for awhile to all of a sudden start irritating your skin.
My daughter had the same problem with her deorderant and as soon as we switched it stopped.
She may have to consider using something else.

She needs to stop using the deoderant and get to a dermatologist asap.

She may have an allergy to her laundry soap. I had that same problem. I changed to All Allergen Free and it works great. Have not had a problem since.
