Ok so 2 questions here

1.) I put a 9200 ATI graphics card into my computer and I got to display properties and there are 4 different selections for the 9200, are are 2 that say default monitor 9200, 1 that says {default monitor} 9200 and one that says {default monitor} 9200 - Secondary. Now it only is letting me use the secondary one right now and I think it is limiting my performance. Any help would be great

2.) I just installed Knights of the Old Republic and I got to configure to test my hardware to see if its all compatible and it says that my drivers are out of date and it says that Nvida cards must have the latest Detonator drivers when I dont even have a Nvidia card AND I have just updated my drivers when I installed the card.

Thanks guys!

1. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card from the website. ATI cards have a huge list of possible problems. They also have trouble with multiple displays. If that doesn't fix it you might have a bad card. If you recently bought it I would recommend returning and getting an NVIDIA card. Just say you were having issues with it. You could also uninstall the card and install it again. I think as long as it's selected on default monitor it's fine. It sounds like a driver issue.

2. This might have to do with having the wrong drivers or some drivers have issues with your hardware. I had a heck of a time fixing one system with a new ATI card. Check and see if you had the catalyst program drivers I think they are called. Sometimes ATI cards won't work without catalyst. Also check and make sure the fan is working on the card. Many ATI cards still have failed fans on their cards. If you do have catalyst, try installing drivers without it or even try it with older drivers. There are tons of issues it could be. XP is very unforgiving with video drivers.
