I was wondering this because i just bought an 30 gig ipod, and i was looking for protective cases. When you pick to buy one it ask you to pick what size ipod( 30 gig or 60 gig) Is the 60 gig ipod thicker or what?

No difference in appearance or physical size. The only difference is in the capacity of the computer chip inside the device. The protective cases for 30 GB's will also fit the 60 GB iPods.

60 gig is phyisically thicker but there is no difference in the specification other than the actual size. So that's why it's asking you to pick size.

The 60GB iPod video is thicker, just a little bit. nothing else.
