If it is only for emergencies, then Tracfone is expensive

GO Phone from Cingular or Virgin Mobile are cheaper and just as reliable.

The minutes carry over if you do not use them. You must refill your account by adding certain dollar amount at certain intervals. The rates are below. If it is only for emergencies, it will cost less than $10 a month unless you have lots of emergencies.

I have used a tracfone for the past 3 years- and I buy all my minutes a year at a time (and on eBay) because I also only use it when traveling or for emergencies. Normally, you have to buy minutes every 60 days, or the annual minutes.

I have a pay as you go phone, and I like it a lot! you pay for a month, but becareful cause they'll getcha! before your time expires, like three days before, put more money on your phone so it will roll over. if you dont then you wont be able to make calls or send messages. or get calls. so you might want to put money on a week before. just dont get to seven dollars!

I kinda wish mine was a plan, but I really dont use it that much, and its suppose to be for emergencies too! ha! thats a joke. you'll use it more than you think!
