Wow. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in the car with my Mom on my way to school. I was a sophomore in high school. I didn't initially understand the seriousness of the situation. I wish I could have seen it then, as I do now. With that said though, within a couple hours I was just as stirred up as the rest of the country/world. Since then, I have visited ground zero, watched documentaries, shows, and just recently watched World Trade Center. Anyone who hasn't already seen it, needs too. I was in 7th grade in science class. The principal came on the intercom and told us that a plane had struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center. I didn't know what was going on until my reading teacher put the news on and we watched live coverage of people running and the street being covered in soot. To this day I have never forgotten that terrible image of the WTC in flames and people falling to their death. God bless all who died and the families of the ones lost.

I was at work. I clean houses and I had the TV on and saw it from the time the 2nd tower was hit. I was in shock. I didn't go to my next job. I went over the babysitters house and watched the news for the next several hours. That day changed who I am.

I was at work. Needless to say, after we heard, not much work got done that day. When I got home, my hubby went out to give blood(I can't 'cause I'm anemic), and I stayed up all night taping the news.
