I want to know the ages of girls that fall under this decriment and should the age be raised also i want to know the advantages and disadvantages of such act and how it has benefited our society at large in terms of the positive and negative.

I was married at 18. Been married now going on 7 years. I have changed alot in since i was 18. I dont regret my marriage but I think that young girls have no idea what the future has in store for them and they settle way to quickly.

I am appalled that some states still allow girls to marry as young as 12. In my opinion, and this is still a stretch, the earliest age should be 18.
