There are several things that need to be done to a car to run E85 if it not designed for it. More often than not it is not worth the extra costs. When the car is running on E85 the fuel does not contain as much energy when ignited so more of it is used versus gasoline. For example, let's say cruising your injecotrs are spraying a 35% shot into the engine. On E85 it would be a 50% shot. Also on E85 vehicles they use larger fuel injectors and adjust the pulse width accordingly for the fuel used. Do not use E85 on a vehicle that is not equiped to use this fuel.

As others before me have stated, there are more desirable vehicle injuries in line with 365 days ensuing in injuries or worse than an analogous for aviation incidents. the surely massive difference is there'll be oftentimes a larger lack of existence in an aviation incident if say a 747 or an A380 crashed to illustrate. The figures produced with the help of incidents like those typically make people imagine that air shuttle is more desirable risky yet injuries that honestly harm people ensue so decrease than they do in a vehicle. vehicle injuries ensue familiar the international over in may numbers yet air injuries do no longer. Drivers of motor vehicles on the line are a lot less regulated than pilots and performance no tests executed on them compared to pilots which have many highly those that fly for an airline. you may want to get right into a vehicle lower than the effect of medicine or alcohol (frequently unlawful and absolutely no longer counseled) and crash and die with those with you yet airline pilots are oftentimes smart and performance a copilot with them that would want to relieve them in the adventure that they trust they're incompetent to fly. If I had the money then i might want to fly with the help of air each day by using the undeniable fact that's safer.

unless it says so in the manual, don't do it. Also, E85 does not create as much power as unleaded, so it cost more to operate. Not a good deal!

No. I support e85 as a way to decrease reliance on foreign oil.
But not for your Jeep, it's not built for it.

Go to http://e85fuel.com that will tell you which vehicles can use e85
There are millions of flex-fuel vehicles already on the road & their owners may not know that they own one.....but a 1999 jeep is NOT one.....
