My choice would have to go to the sex pistols. Their music isn't all that good and Sid Vicious couldn't even play his instrument. Not just that, but a producer really made them in the same fashion that a producer makes boy bands. Only to profit. But which 70's band do you beleive to be the most over-rated

That's an easy one..KC and the Sunshine Band..They had no talent..How hard is it to keep repeating the lyric. Do a little dance, make a little love , get down tonight...They sucked!

The Patridge Family. Talk about putting a band together for profit. The songs were cheesy and Susan Dey and David Cassidy are the only reason they were even popular. Look what the whole thing did to Danny Bonaduce!

KISS is by far the most overrated band of the seventies. They trully were a mediocre band. They're little dress up gimmick was the only thing that made them famous.
