Any number of people are overweight, then you have all those who are anorexic. People don't get enough exercise...then there are all those who have a variety of neuroses and psychoses. I'd say, oh yeah we're in great shape.

No, because of modern conveniences people do not exercise nearly as much as they should and because of all the wonderful yummy but wayyyy unhealthy foods out there people are making bad choices when it comes to eating. People are busy and always on the go so they are lazy when it comes to cooking a meal. Instant is always better, whether that be the drive-thru or a t.v. dinner. Plus, I believe that alot of the foods we are eating have chemicals in them that are bad for the body, just that we don't quite know the effects of them yet. More than likely they are cancer causing agents.

Being healthy is choice, choose to walk to work instead or take the time to make a healthy meal instead of taking the easy route, those are all choices.

Those people who make an effort to take care of themselves by getting healthy exercise, eating a healthy diet, and avoiding unhealthy behavior usually are. See the Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine by Murray and Pizzorno for info on how to get and stay healthy.
Nature, or God, gave most of us a wonderful body. It is almost completely up to us what we do to it.
