Substitute teaching (most districts), Para pro, Program Assistant at an after school facility, tutoring, daycare worker, and summer camp staff. Most of these jobs will only pay between $7-$10 an hour and are part-time. These jobs are good if you want to work part-time and go to school full time and they are great experiences that you can put on your resume. When you do finish your B.S., school districts will not only look at your grades but also what experience you have had with children other than student teaching. And sometimes these types of jobs will help you decide if you really want to teach or what grade level you would like to teach.
