Problem with Yahoo voice?

Does anyone know why I am getting this error message. I am trying to talk to someone in another country and when I call them or they call me, i get this error message. I checked my mic and it works fine. I had the other person check their mic and it works too. The other person has only dial-up while I have a broadband connection. The call seems to connect for a few seconds but i can't hear the other person and they cannot hear me. Then the error message below pops up everytime. Is there a problem with Yahoo! Voice? Any suggestions?

Error message--

No voice signal can be detected from m2006.
There may be a problem with the network connection.

i think is a problem with the version of yahoo massenger try to instal again and this time to be the last version.
