Quick question. I have my own webpage on the popular myspace.com. However, I noticed that all of my friends who are "Windows" users have no problem viewing my page. BUT, the only two who have trouble are one who own an APPLE COMP. I think it has something to do with the opacity I have on my page. But why do apple users have difficulty?

If you would like to see what I am referring to, go to the address below:

myspace.com/domhaas

But, if you already have an idea of what I'm talking about, then you don't need to go to the address above.

Hi there...I just reviewed your myspace webpage using all three Mac browsers (Safari, Firefox and Netscape) and compared it with the Windows machine browsers and it works fine in my Mac. I suspect perhaps your friends are using an older version of the Mac OSX and Safari browser. I am using OS X 10.4.7 Safari browser version 2.0.4 and the latest Firefox and Netscape versions for Mac OSX

I don't have a Mac, so I can't be for sure (but I've tried everything else on that site), but see if they are using older versions of Mac OS, such as OS 9, and see if they are using an older browser. If that's the case, see if they can upgrade their browser.

The only reason they shouldn't be able to see the site correctly is if they are using an old browser that doesn't support some newer web standards. The newer Mac OS browser (Safari) shouldn't be having any problem. If they aren't using Firefox, see if they can get a version of Firefox.

I checked your site out on my mac and didn't notice any problems on your site. However, some myspace sites are almost impossible to view because of the opacity factor within the tables on the page. The solution I have found was to use Firefox (instead of Safari) for those pages, and it works fine.

Many websites just aren't made for Macs. That is probably the problem. Or even the HTML or what you put on your page is not compatable. I don't have a Mac, but this is what I am assuming.
