For example, my friend told me where I could hear new clips of our favorite band's new CD that's coming out next year. I told her that I couldn't find what she was talking about, and instead of helping me, she ignored me! Why do people do stuff like that?

Maybe she thought you did not show proper enthusiasm and was just humoring her. Or, she could have been distracted about something else that had nothing to do with you. Don't take things so personally, I'm almost positive you have done the same thing and don't realize it or just don't acknowledge it.

They only trying to show offf them self ...they figure that when u find what they talking about u become more favorite off whatever the situation might be.Just be normall and always think that u know more than them.

Because she's too caught up in the moment. Maybe she just didn't realize that she was ignoring you, it's very easy to do and sometimes people do it without even noticing.

some people are 100 % selfish.They want all your attention in them.But when you talk or say something,they do not care about what you talk or say.Their behaviour is the typical selfish people's behaviour.Good question.

Probably because it isn't true. Lot's of people do that on things that they picked up from others. I don't fully understand why they do that but they just do.
