If you've been given the password to someone else's email then it's probably accepted that you're going to be reading the email.

Ordinarily, it would be socially unacceptable behavior to read someone else's email or for that matter their US postal mail.

It is distasteful but I belive that emails fall under publication laws, so unless it stated otherwise you can probaly get away with it. Unless your hacking, comitting slander or disclosing private and/or valuble imformation I can't see why an one would go to the trouble of making a big song and dance about it, let alone go to the expense of a legal prosecution. But really it depends what country your in as too the exact laws.

In several court cases around the US email has been granted the same right to privacy that traditional written mail has had.

Unfortunatly minors are not protected from searches conducted by their parents.

Your ex-spouse has no employer being on your place dealing with your inner maximum issues. Did you enable her into your place? i will't inform you relating to the legality of her examining your e mail, in spite of the fact that it rather is rather ethically incorrect. i could think of that a court docket of regulation could back you if had to get an order to permit her on your place purely once you're recent and can demonstrate screen what she is stepping into.
