i have a wiindows 2005 media center laptop made from gateway, i see all of these usb tv things that are a little pricy, my laptop does not have an s video output, so i need a usb, one or do I? I need help finding some way ( i prefer it to be free) to put tv, live or recorded on my laptop, if i can stream it live via a hotspot? i would like to know ASAP thannks.

you have to get this thing that Sont has its a Location Free Player
if work with HOspots
but its pricy
i have the Gateway Media center too but its on my desktop
or u can put a Tv Tuner in your Laptop if they evan make it for laptops

I looking to buy something too my choise is there make a pc card tuner works good as that is the fastest slot pc.for reglar tv best but they also are comeing out some are here now (usb2) small box hdtv if you live close to the station,super good picture,less station but (check hdtv station listing)dont know what iam going to do yet, it about hdtv/returns for me

i dont have gateway, i use dell and it still cost like $200 for tivo
