I've heard that women 'wear the pants' in India. Even in the US, Indian women that have immigrated here seem more dominant than the men. I also hear that Hinduism is more female-oriented than other religions (interestingly, it also advocates a caste system). Any info?

Men and women are equal. Indian society and is not like US & other Christian & Muslim dominated countries, which are male dominated. We respect our women. Your question, whether the Government is run only by women (gynarchical), is wrong and shows your ignorance about General Knowledge. India is, one of the biggest Parliamentary Democracies, in the World.

I agree with Vijay. It would be humiliating for an Indian man to admit he doesn't wear the pants in his home. He would be shamed for life.
