most of the songs are hip and rap, im more a rock type of person (no offence) and i would like to delete to the songs so i can put the songs i want on, is there any way? please help!!

Put only the songs you want into your library. Then download from the library into the ipod using the Replace Contents option.

connect the player to ur usb port the if u have real player or windows media player launch that and it will say the device then u see what is on there and u have the option to delete from there
