A bag of ice melted next to my amp. The amp is ok but the carpet got really wet. What would be the best way to dry it without taking out the carpet?

Use a wet shop vac to get most of the water up and than use a floor fan to help try the rest.

The wiring and everything inside of the car should be OK because it was designed to resist the elements that come along with driving in the rain, snow etc. Because you would probably track water into the vehicle and/or have an occasional spill of liquids. Whatever is under the floor will not deteriorate because of it. Vehicle manufacturers know that people leave their windows open in the rain or that they spill that 83oz cup of soda between the seats so I am sure that a bag of ice couldnt do any worse damage. I let many water accidents air dry inside of my car without any problems that come along with wet carpet so you really do not have much to worry about.

Try a wet vac and let the rest air dry. You can just rent one if you or your friends don't have one. But if you do decide to buy one, they always come in handy.
