To start off with...American Football is Wimpy. Your quarterback is not allowed to call his own plays, they come from the bench. Your field is smaller 100 yards by 53.5 yards (end zones 10 yards). You get 4 downs, and throw the ball way too much, you use 11 players, you can only have one man in motion in the back field (that way the other team has a general idea what's going on), you have 40 seconds to run a play.

Canadian Football on the other hand, our quarterbacks are intelligent and call their own plays, our playing field is 110 yards by 65 yards (end zones 20 yards), we keep the ball on the ground a little more so there's lots of hitting. We use 12 players, and the all the players can run around in the back field (except the centre and Quarterback), we had 20 seconds to run a play.

There are more differences between the two, but there are way too many ton name here. I suggest you check out the two rule books. And the reasons there so many questions on American Football is nobody has a clue why they're so wimpy.

CANADIAN FOOTBALL RULES, lots more action and suspense and a lot harder hitting game. Although Australian Rules Football is the toughest game in the world.

I think Canadian football has been around longer than American football. Football is not as big in Canada because of the smaller population and hockey dominates in Canada.

Much of the Americas play "football," or soccer, as it's called.

Guess you guys in the Americas need to ask loads of questions because you are all dumber than blocks of wood. Up here in Canada, we understand both the CFL, NFL and that soccer sport, too. We only ask questions when we need to rather than blethering on like the Dubyas that half of y'all are down there.

Have a look at the American Footbal questions, 90% of them read "What do you think of my fantasy football team?" Lame.

I know I have more to question about American football, than Canadian. Why question something that is so damn close to perfect?
