What differences do you see in mediated relationships compares to face-to-face relationships?

How much feedback you receive, cues, variety of language, ability to express emotions.....

Communication is definetly hindered when it is mediated via phones and even more over the internet. Much of our communication is done w/ tone, facial/body expression and other non-verbal cues, and all that is lost when you are not in the same room with a person.
