Because we are only human I suppose with the capacity to make mistakes....
But sometimes we get things right too, so it generally balances out in time.

Invariably we are given too many choices in life, and the choice we make at the time seems the best... Further along the line other aspects come in to the equation and then we look back and see the original choice we made may not have been the best one!!! Thats sounds confusing in writing, but to me makes the perfect sense!

No point having the word 'mistake' in the dictionary if no one is going to bother using it, its life and we all screw up at times.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. And if you screwed something up, it may have been for the better.

I dunno.
I think for me, I'm just scared of being happy.
If everything went well, who would I be? at the moment I can identify myself by my problems - If I had nothing wrong could I do that?
Maybe I'm not able to be happy? Or maybe I'm just scared that even if everything was 'fine' I'd still be miserable.
Maybe its because I know I don't deserve happiness.

It would be great if we never made any mistakes but we do tend to use them as building blockes of our learning curve.
We can relate to them and compare the bad experiences when we approach new situations and therefore use them as a guide

Because ultimately we are all bumbling through life trying to do the right thing.... sometimes what we perceive to be the right thing is perceived by others as the wrong thing.
