I don't understand the question. I do have Sims 2, but what kind of characters do you mean? I do have two stories on my sim page, though.

http://modthesims2.com/ has some *wonderful* downloads, including Sims themselves to play (and you can specify which is the latest expansion pack you have, so you're less likely to download a character or object that you can't play).
http://thesims2.ea.com/ (the official site) also has thousands of characters to download.
